10.
The price of Tender/Bid document
is Rs. 10,000/- ( ten thousand ),non
refundable
in the form of cash or Bank Draft in favour of Excutive
Engineer,Water
Ways Division,Garhwa Payable at Garhwa.

11.
2% (Two percent) of indicative
Cost of the scheme as earnest money pledged
against
the name of Executive Engineer,Water ways Division,Garhwa.will
be
essentially enclosed with the technical Bid document. The said
earnest
money may be in the shape of National saving Certificates
or post office
3 years/5 years /7 years term deposit or Bank Guarantee of any
National
Schedule
Bank with at least one operative Branch of the Bank must be in
the
State capital of Ranchi & complying to the letter no. 295
dated 21.04.2202 of
Finance Department Government of Jharkhand. The minimum
validity of the
said
earnest money should be 180 days after the date of Technical
Bid.

12.
The
firms/Contractors, registered with Water Resources Department
in
appropriate
category may participate in this Tender. However, Firm
/Contractors registered in appropriatate catogary with any
other State Government/Central Gavernment Authority/undertaking may also participate in this Tender
subject to the condition that they will have to get themselves
registered in appropriate category in Water Resources
Department Government of Jharkhand within thirty days after
qualifying in Technical Bid.

13.
The
agreement of the work will be drawn on PWD form F2
( after deletion of
clause
23 ).
|
|
14.
Relaxation
in submission of Earnest money is permitted to the Government
of
India
undertaking which are registered with Water Resources
Department, Government of Jharkhand subjected to the condition
laid down in the department letter no. 938 dated 12.09.2003.

|
15.
Production
of Identy Card & Registration Certificate in mandatory at
the
time
of purchage of Tender document otherwise the tender document
will not be issued.
|
|
16.
The work to be done is on “TURN
KEY” basis. The
survey & Investigation
,Design
& Drawing Project report etc. will also be the part of the
work.
17. The
weir side is located near village –Ranichery at 2 km from
Chinia block
and
meeting point of linked channel to Chirka main canal is 4 km
from Chinia Block at Mahatwain village in Garhwa Disrtict.
18. Works details to be executed are as follows:-
(i)
Survey, Investigation collection of design data,design
& drawing and
preparation
of Detailed project report of Dhankutti Nala Augmentation
scheme (Weir,linked Channel and their various Structures
complete work according to the index plan attached with the
Technical Bid document )
(ii) Construction of ogee shape sloping glacis weir
of 45 M length and 5 M. Heigh.
(iii) Construction
of head Regulator cum SLR Bridge for feeding 0.50
cumecs
discharge to link channel with its gate and hoisting
arrangement of approved design & drawing.
(iv) Construction
of a structure at the inlet point of link channel and Chirka
Main
Canal.
(v) Construction of Cross Drainage Works at 0.240 km.
(vi) Construction of 4 Number Village
channel crossing for irrigation
Purposes
(vii) Construction of 6 Number S.L.R. Brigde.
(viii) Construction of 2820 M. long
lined link Dhankutti Nala channel
including
earth works for augmenting water to Chirka main canal as per
approved drawing and design.
(ix) The
scheme after completion will have to be commissioned
maintained
and
run by the contractor / agency for three kharif and three
Rabbi Irrigation and must achieve a minimum target of 90
percent of Irrigation potential as envisaged in the Project
Report.
19. Time of completion will be 24 months strictly.
20. The minimum essential criteria
for qualification of tendered work is as
follows:-
(i) The
total turn over during preceding five financial years should
not be
less
than 80% of the indicative cost of Dhankutti Nala Augmentation
Scheme with the condition that in at least one financial year
of the above period the annual turnover for similar works
should not be less than 60% of the indicative cost of the
Dhankutti Nala Augmentation Scheme.
(ii) The tenderers must have experience of execution of
similar nature of one civil works of at least 3 crores
cost over past five years and they must have an experience of
construction of weir Canal etc. during last five years.
21. Tenderers are advised to visit site & acquaint
themselves from entire site
conditions
22. Tender
is bassed on TWO ENVELOPE SYSTEM. The first
envelope shall
be
marked with “ Technical – Cum – pre – Qualification
Bid ’’ and the second envelope shall be marked with “
Finacial Bid ” All the testimonials including earnest money
will be kept in “ Technical Bid ’’ Envelope The second
Envelope will contain only “ Price Bid ”
“Finnacial Bid
’’of only technically qualified tenderers shall be opened.
23.
Joint Venture will not be accepted.
24.
Duly attested copies of up to date Labour
Licence,Income Tax Clearance,Audited Balance sheet for
previous five years,Registration Certificate,Sale Tax
Clearance are to be attached with the Technical Cum pre
–qualification Bid document.
25. If for any reason in the
para-4,5,6, & 7 are holidays, the nex working day
shall
be the date of said work.
26. Any other details/enquiries may be had from the office
mentioned in para-3.
27. Works
will be executed on the basis of guidelines and provision of
Water
Resources Department,relevant IS code, IRC publications, CWC
publications
and
circulars issued by the department time to time.
28. The cost of the project mentioned in para-2 is purely
indicative and not guide line for design and execution. The
tenderers shall have to estimate the volume
of work mentioned in para-18.
29. The
contractor is required to establish its own
requisite facilities such as
functional
Quality Control Laboratory at work site before execution of
the work.
30. No
claim for idle labour,men and machinery will be entertained
for any
reason
whatsoever.
31. The
rates and prices tendered in the price Bid shall ,except on so
far as it is otherwise provided under the contract, including
all constructional plants,
labours
supervisons, materials, erection, maintenance, insurance,
profit, taxes and duties, together with all general
risks,liabilities and obligations set out of implied in the
contract. The rates and prices shall be quoted entirely in
Indian currency.
32. Condition laid down in Tender/Bid document of the said
work will be part of agreement.
