Guidelines
for filling application form for Birsa Munda Technical
Scholarship & Ambedkar Technical Scholarship awarded by
the Welfare Department, Govt. of Jharkhand.
It has been observed that
in the matter of BIRSA MUNDA TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP AND
AMBEDKAR TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP, technical
institutions/colleges do not furnish complete and requisite
information, resulting in undue delay in scholarship
reimbursement.
Hence
following guidelines and directions are being given to all the
technical institutions/ colleges and students to follow;
otherwise application for above scholarship may not be
entertained.
1.
Application should strictly be in the form prescribed by
the Department.
2.
For new scholarship passport size photographs of the
student must be attested by the institutions/ colleges and
should be affixed in the place provided for it in the form.
In the case of renewal, photograph is not needed.
3.
Fees like admission fee, teaching fee, library fee sports
fee, hostel fee etc. should clearly be written separately in
figure and in words. The
figure should be totalled also.
4.
Application form should be completely filled up.
The column, which is not relevant, should be crossed.
Attested copies of all relevant certificates such as
income certificate, caste certificate and other relevant
certificates must be enclosed with the application form. The
authorized person of the institution must attest the required
certificates and documents.
5.
At the time of admission to the institution/ college,
income certificate is required to be furnished once. For
renewal it is not needed.
6.
For the failed candidate, renewal will be done once only.
7.
All applicable fees will be transferred to the bank account
of the student within two months as soon as it is reimbursed
by the government.
8.
Renewal application must be forwarded in time.
9.
The amount of scholarship is sent to institution/ College
through bank draft. Hence the name of the bank or branch with
location from where the payment is to be credited must be
written clearly on the bonafide certificate.
10. Student
should have bank account in nearby bank and account no.
should clearly be written in application form. |
