Applications
are invited from reputed N.G.Os
to work as facilitating agencies for Jharkhand Lac Development
Scheme in
the office of the Tribal Welfare Commissioner, Jharkhand
Mantralaya, Project Building, Dhurwa, Ranchi.
The Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand, has
launched a Project on Lac Development for tribal families
spread over the following districts of Jharkhand: - Garhwa,
Gumla, Hazaribagh, Latehar, Palamau, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Khunti,
Saraikela –Kharsawa, Simdega and West Singhbhum.
For implementation of this scheme, N.G.Os have very
imporatnt role as facilitating agencies. The main activities
of the N.G.Os are implementation of planned targets, field
level execution of the programme for commercial and brood lac
production, organising skill trainings, input (including
credit) management and distribution, collection and
maintenance of operational data required, providing field
level support to action reasearch projects as required and
reporting to Project Cell.
The
NGOs
will be evaluated for selction on the rating norms based on
the information provided by the NGOs. Following in formations
with supporting documents should be provided by the NGOs.
1-
Registration certificate under Society Registration
Act/ relevent act.
2-
Experience of working in agriculture at village level
preferably in Lac.
3-
Permanant staff and office infrastructure available.
4-
Number of village level community based institution
like SHGs or similar beneficiary groups in the operational
area.
5-
Audited balance sheet /P.L account of the last three
years.
6-
Externally funded/sponsored projects handled, if any
giving details of funding agency, budget and purpose of grant.
7-
Rapport with local agencies like Bank/Govt agencies /PRIs
and other development agencies.
8-
Management of NGO.
9-
Monitoring arrangement.
10-
District/s where the NGO wants to operate under this
scheme.
11-
Number of families/benefeciearies wants to adopt for
this programme.
