Terms and Conditions
1. Only registered contractor & under appropriate class with Drinking Water & Sanitation Department, Government of Jharkhand and other state PHED are eligible to participate in the tender. The tender must submit the registration certificate along with application for purchase of B.O.Q.
2. Contractor who have completed successfully construction of minimum 25,000 gallon capacity E.S.R. laying & jointing minimum 100mm dia C.I./D.I. pipe at least 5.0 K.M. is eligible to participate in this tender. Tenderers must documentary evidence issued by the competent authorities along with  “Technical Bid”
3. Earnest Money amount should be dully pledged in favour of  Executive Engineer, D.W.& S. Division, Ramgarh in the shape of Post office NSC (8^th  issue) or time deposits of 3/5 years and also bank guarantee of any Nationalize/Schedule Bank valid up to 270 Days from the date of tender may be accepted in case of Firm/Company only. Earnest Money amount in this manner must be submitted along with technical Bid.
4. Turn over the tenderers will not be less than the estimated cost in any one year in last three years. The tenderers must submit documentary evidence for total turn over of the contractor/firm issued by chartered Account along with “Technical Bid”.
5. The tender is base on two envelope systems. The first envelope shall be marked as technical bid which shall contain attested photocopy of registration certificate, experience certificate, turn over certificate, up to date sales tax clearance, income tax/PAN CARD and Earnest money deposit, character certificate etc. will be attached.
6. The second envelope shall be marked as price bid and contain rate portion (schedule-A) signed by the tenderers.
7. Technical Bid & price bid should be separately put in separate envelope duly sealed and should indicate the name and address of the tenderers and also written indication of price bid or technical bid over the envelope. Both the envelope shall be submitted simultaneously in the tender.
8. First Technical Bid shall be opened and eligibility of the tenderer shall be ascertained. Those tenderers who do not qualify in the technical bid their tender shall be rejected and their price bid shall not be opened.
9. The tenderer should carefully go through the contents of B.O.Q. Note to tenderer and scope of work before submission of tender.
10. Superintending Engineer D.W. & S. Circle, Hazaribag reserves the right to cancel any or all the tender without assigning any reason. In case of any dispute the decision of S.E. shall be final and binding.
11. B.O.Q. will be not issued to those contractors who have not completed 80% of previous allotted work up to contract date of completion.
12. Other term and conditions of the tender shall be enclosed along with the B.O.Q. and shall be binding to the tenderers.
13. Tender shall also be accepted by registered post or speed post during the stipulated period.
14. Earnest cost may increase or decreased accordingly cost of B.O.Q. and earnest money may be vary.
15. Conditional tender will not be accepted.
