INVITATION OF OFFERS FROM REPUTED MANUFACTURES/AUTHORIZED DEALERS FOR
SUPPLY OF VARIOUS CATEGORY OF TENTS, THEIR
STORAGE, MAINTANENCE & OPERATION
The
State of Jharkhand is widely being acknowledged as the region of
natural magnificence with its beautiful hills, waterfalls,
forests, sanctuaries, glorious tribal culture and climate as
well as different places of famous pilgrimages like Deoghar,
Parasnath, Rajrappa, etc.
The
Department of Tourism promotes various tourism related
activities in the State of Jharkhand. To create awareness among
potential tourists, attract investment in tourism sector and
showcasing the tourism strength of the state, the department
organizes various State level festivals, exhibitions, seminars,
workshops etc from time to time. for which temporary
arrangements are required to be done to accommodate guests/
delegates/ participants.
Keeping
the objective of providing various facilities at a tourist spot
for the tourist at a short notice in mind, the Department of
Tourism, Govt. of Jharkhand intends to purchase various
categories of tents for providing residential accommodations,
toilets, dinning, refreshment facilities etc.
Accordingly,
sealed offers are invited from interested eligible reputed
manufacturers / authorized dealers for the supply of various
forms of tents, their storage, maintenance and operation.
The
details of the various categories of tents, which are expected
to be attractive, durable, high quality and having latest
technical inputs are as follows:

Swiss Cottage Tent with Accessories
·
Normal Tent with Double/Triple Occupancy
·
General Tent with a Minimum 6 People Occupancy
·
VIP Tents
·
Dining Tent
·
Urinals/Toilet
Tent for 5/10/25 Persons
·
Furniture
& Bathroom Accessories
II.
Tender Procedure
1.
The Bidders should submit the proposals in two parts:
a.
Technical Bid
b.
Financial Bid
i)
Technical part should contain all such details as
mentioned in the Bid Document.
ii)
Financial part should contain the financial bid inclusive
of all admissible taxes, duties and levies, etc.
The details of the financial bid should also be included
for better appreciation of the bid.
iii)
These two parts should be submitted in separate sealed
and superscribed envelops.
iv)
Both the envelops should then be sealed in a third
envelop marked as “TENDER
FOR THE SUPPLY OF VARIOUS CATEGORY OF TENTS, THEIR STORAGE, MAINTANENCE & OPERATION”
2.
A complete set of Bid Document may be purchased by
interested eligible Bidders on the submission of a written
application to the Under Secretary, Department of Tourism,
Government of Jharkhand upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.
5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) in the form of Demand
Draft in favour of the
Under Secretary, Department of Tourism, Ranchi, payable at
Ranchi.
3.
The Bid Document may be purchased personally during
office hours on all working days from
26.09.2008 to 11.10.2008 It may also be downloaded from www.jharkhand.gov.in
in which case, the fee in the form of demand draft should
be enclosed with the bid document at the time of submission.
4.
The last date for submission of bid is 13.10.2008
up to 1400 hrs at the following address:

5.
The technical bids shall be opened on 13.10.2008
at 1600 hrs. before the duly constituted committee. The
bidder or his authorized representative may remain present
during the opening of such bid.
6.
The Secretary, Department of Tourism reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all the offers, in part or in full
without assigning any reason whatsoever.
7.
The Secretary, Department of Tourism also reserves the
right to cancel/postpone the date of receipt and opening of the
tenders without bearing any liability, whatsoever, consequent
upon such decision.
