NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Tender Notice No. : ….    of 07-08

Name of the Work :   Planning, Designing, Detailed Engineering &  Construction of Institute of Hotel Management at Brambey, Ranchi, Jharkhand including Sanitary and Water Supply (internal& External), Electrification (Internal   and external) Campus lighting, Roads, Site development, landscape designing and execution, including false ceiling, acoustical treatment and decorative  lighting, air conditioning  complete job on Turn Key Basis.

Sealed tender on Turn Key Basis in 3 parts are invited by the Director Tourism, Cum Nodal Officer IHM Society ,Ranchi, Jharkhand from reputed Contractors registered under top most category with State P.W.D, C.P.W.D, M.E.S, Railways, Government/Semi Government undertakings and having the following minimum experience of large building construction work.
1. The Tender will be received in 3 envelope system. The entire work has to be executed on Turn-Key basis . The intending bidders are to submit proof of collaboration with Architects of repute, registered with Council of Architects having valid registration and having experience of handling large projects.
2. Part  I of the Tender will contain the following

1. Full details of the firm, Partnership Deed, Proof of Registration of the Firm. In case of Company the Articles/Memorandum of Association and registration of the Company.

2. Proof of having executed Academic Building Project (Completed or nearing completion ) of similar nature  in the past 5 years  in any Government or Semi Government Organisation and having a minimum built up area of 75,000 Sq.ft within a period of 24 months consisting of Civil works, Electrification works   (internal and external) Water Supply Works (internal and external), False    Ceiling, acoustical treatments, Air Conditioning.

3. Bid Security/ Earnest Money

4. Last 3 years Audited Balance Sheets along with profit and loss account.

5. Copy of the PAN Card, Service Tax registration and VAT registration.

6. A letter of appointment from the tenderer to the Collaborated Architect, appointing him or the Firm, for providing all architectural and detailed engineering services. The Collaborated Architect should have experience of design Of Academic Buildings and should produce photographs of the completed projects, which shall be enclosed with the tender.

7. A letter from the Architect accepting to collaborate with the tenderer and render all architectural and detailed engineering services. He will also be guided by the Architect (Professional Conduct) Regulation 1989 promulgated by the Council of Architects. A  list of projects handled in the past should also be submitted

8. A copy of the registration certificate of the Architect Council of Architecture.

9. List of plant and Machinery and Technical Personnel to be deployed on the work.

10. Affidavit as regards the genuineness of the certificate attached.

11. Loss making companies will not be entertained.

Please note that all copies of the certificates submitted should be attested by the Notary public or First Class gazetted Government Officers.
3. Part II of the bid of only those Tenderers, who meet the eligibility criteria laid down in part one will be opened. The Part II of the tender will contain the following.
PART - II
Part Two of the Tender will contain the following.

a.      Layout plan of the proposed complex.
b.   Following drawings etc for the buildings proposed
(i)  Plan of all floors, elevations and sections.
(ii) Perspective views from all the sides.
(iii) Plinth Area calculation of the various buildings.
All the designs shall be based on the space programme given in the Tender    Documents.
4. Part III of the Tender will contain the Price Bid of the Project under different heads as   detailed in the Tender Documents.
5. The earnest money will be Rs 20 lakh only and shall be submitted in form of Crossed Bank Draft or Bank Guarantee only in favour of, I H M Society Ranchi drawn on any Nationalized Bank at Ranchi.
6. Date of sale of the Tender papers will be from 25.02.2008 to 29.02.2008. The time of the completion of the Project is 24 months. The cost of tender papers is Rs 10000.00and the cost of the tender documents shall be   deposited in the shape of demand draft in favour of, I H M Society Ranchi drawn on any Nationalized Bank at Ranchi.
7. A pre-bid meeting shall be held on 07.03.2008.
8. The Tender documents duly filled and completed by the tenderer will be received on 24.03.2008 up to 15:00 hours.
9. Part one of the tender will be opened on 24.03.2008 at 15:30 hours.
10. The remaining 2 parts of only those bidders will be opened who qualify after the scrutiny of the first part.
11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept the tender for full quantities or split the work amongst more than one bidder without assigning any reason whatsoever.
