The
Department of Tourism, Govt. of Jharkhand invites sealed
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST from reputed experienced eligible parties
/ agencies to install modern signage indicating different
tourist places of Jharkhand State at Airport, Railway Station,
Bus Stand, Major tourist entry Points & National and State
Highways within the Jharkhand State. For better management and
maintenance of these signages the Department is also planning to
get into a three year's agreement with the selected parties/
agency. The work shall include but not be limited to overall
preparation, erection, projection and installation of signages.
Details of Tender :
(i)
Number of Signages-1000
(ii)
Party should specify the dimension of signages, their
specification with material quality.
(iii) Party
should make their presentation on the opening day of Credential
Bid.
2. Interested Parties / well reputed agencies are
requested to submit their bids in TWO saprate sealed envelops
which should be marked as (1) "CREDENTIAL BID"&
(2) “FINANCIAL BID”.
IN CREDENTIAL BID, IT SHOULD HAVE-
- Address, Telephone no, Registration No. etc and
all other relevant details of the Party / Agencies etc.
- Details of work of similar nature executed in
the past with documentary proof.
- The firm must have Service Tax, VAT, Central
VAT registration and Income Tax return.
- Only those firms who have minimum 5 years
experience of executing such work may apply.
- The firm should have a minimum annual turnover
of Rs. 1 (One) crore and above in signages and Dimensional
outdoor fabrication job.
- The Firm should have adequate manpower to
complete the job in a given time frame.
- The firm should enclose a list of their clients
and at least 5 references of organizations for which they
have done similar type of job in the last 5 years.
- The Bidder has to submit a sample of 600 × 600
m.m., High Intensity Plasmatic Sheet, which is to be used
for proposed Signages.
- List of testimonials establishing professional
excellence of the firm should also be submitted as enclosure
in Credential of the tenderer.
- The firm should enclose along with their
application their products in this area and their
specifications and whether the same is a propriety product.
- The firm should have a good local presence, and
at the very least an office in the State of Jharkhand.

The bidder must submit an earnest money of Rs. 25,000/- with the
Credential Bid, in the form of B/D in favour of Director Tourism
Jharkhand, payable at Ranchi.
IN FINANCIAL BID, IT SHOULD HAVE -
a.
The rates should be quoted as per the specifications laid
down by the Department of Tourism. The specification &
details of the work can obtain from the office of undersigned on
any working day in office hour and all laid down terms and
conditions are to be fulfilled by the bidder at the time of
their bidding.
The last date for submission of Bids is 04/01/2008 till
2:00 P.M. The Credential bid will be opened on 04/01/2008 at
03:00 P.M. and the firm must give a detail presentation,
preferably in power point format to establish the type of
signages they are going to deliver.
3. Financial Bids of only technically qualified biders will be opened by
the Committee.
4.
Department of Tourism reserves its rights to accept/
reject any or all application without assigning any reason.
Incase of any dispute, the decision of undersigned is final and
cannot be challenged.
