ROAD CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT GOVT. OF JHARKHAND invites bids
for the construction of works detailed in the table. The
bidders may submit bids for any or all of the following
works :-

Bidding
document (and additional copies) may be purchased by any one
from the office of (1) Chief Engineer (communication) Road
construction department C.M.P.D.I. campus Kanke road Ranchi
(Jharkhand) (2) Office of the Superintending Engineer R.C.D.
Road Circle, Hazaribag. (3) Office of the Executive
Engineer, R.C.D. Road Division, Chatra from 07.09.09 to
12.09.09 for a non refundable fee (three sets) as indicated,
in the form of cash or Demand draft on any Scheduled Bank
payable at Chatra in favour of Executive Engineer, R.C.D.
Road Division, Chatra interested bidders may obtain further
information at the same address. Bidding documents requested
by mail will be dispatched by registered/speed post on
payment of an extra amount of Rs. 500 (Five hundred) The
Department will not be held responsible for the postal delay
if any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of
the same.
Alternatively,bidders
can download the bidding document from any of the following web
sites

However
the bidder shall have to pay the abovestated cost of bidding
document along with bid at the time of submitting the bid in
form of Demand Draft as stated above failing which the bid shall
be treated as “invalid”

Bids
must be accompanied by security of the amount specified for
the work in the table, payable at Chatra and drawn in favour
of Executive Engineer, R.C.D. Road Division, Chatra. Bid
security will have to be to be in anyone of the forms as
specified in the bidding document and shall have to be valid
for 45 days beyond the validity of the bid.

Bids
must be delivered to (1) Chief Engineer (communication) Road
construction department C.M.P.D.I. campus Kanke Road Ranchi
(Jharkhand) (II) District Control Office, Ranchi up to 15:00
P.M. dated 18.09.09
and technical Bid will be opened on the same day at 15:30
p.m. in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Time
and date for opening financial Bid to be announced later on
if the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt of
the bids as specified, the bids will be received and opened
on the next working day at the same time and venue.

Cost & Bid Security can be increased & decreased Bid
Security to be deposit accordingly estimated cost.
