The Road Construction Department, Govt. of Jharkhand,
invites bids for the construction of works detailed in the
table. The bidders may submit bids for any or all of the
following works.

Bidding document may be purchased from the office of (i)
Chief Engineer(Communication), Road Construction Department,
CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand (ii) Superintending
Engineer, RCD, Road Circle, Hazaribag (iii) Executive Engineer,
RCD, Road Division, Dhanbad from 01.09.2009 to 03.09.2009 for a
non-refundable fees as indicated, in the form of Demand draft on
State Bank India, payable at Hirapur, Dhanbad in favour of
Executive Engineer, RCD, Road Division, Dhanbad Interested
bidders may obtain further information from office of the
same address. Bidding documents requested by mail will be
dispatched by registered/speed post on payment of an extra
amount of Rs 1,000.00 (Rupees one thousand only). The Executive
Engineer will not be held responsible for the postal delay if
any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the
same.

bidders can download the bidding documents from any of the
following websites:

However
the bidder shall have stated cost of bidding document along with
bid at the time of submitting the bid in from of demand draft as
stated above, failing which the
shall be treated as “invalid’’. Addition an
alternation in the downloaded within document shall be treated
as “invalid”.
3.
Bids must be accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table duly placed in favour of the
Executive Engineer, RCD, Road Division, Dhanbad. Bid security
will have to be in anyone of the forms as specified in the
bidding document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond
the validity of the bid.
4.
Bids must be delivered to the Chief
Engineer(Communication), Road Construction Department, CMPDI
Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand/District control Room
Office, Ranchi on or before 15.00 hours on 07.09.2009 (date) and
will be opened on the same day at 15.30 hours, in the presence
of the bidders who wish to attend. If the office happens to be
closed on the date of receipt of the bids as specified, the bids
will be received and opened on the next working day at the same
time and venue.
