Bidding Documents may be purchased from the following

16-05-2008 for a Non-Refundable Fee as indicated,
in the form of Demand Draft on State Bank Of India, Payable at
SBI Branch of Jamtara in favour of the Executive Engineer,
Road Construction Department, Road Division, Jamtara.
(i) Office
of the Chief Engineer (Communications), Road Construction
Department, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand,
Ranchi – 834008.
(ii)
Office of the Superintending Engineer, Road
Construction Department, Road Circle, Dumka.
(iii) Office
of the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road
Division, Jamtara.
Interested Bidders may obtain further information at
the Addresses mentioned above.
3.
Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security (Earnest
Money) of the amount specified for the work in the Bid
Document, pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, Road
Construction Department, Road Division, Jamtara. Bid Security
will have to be in any one of the forms as specified in the
Bidding Document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond
the validity of the Bid.
4.
Bids must be delivered to the following Office on or
before 15:00 Hrs on
21-05-2008 and will be opened on the same day at 15:30 Hrs in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend. If the
Office happens to be closed on the date of the receipt of the
Bids as specified, the Bids will be received and opened on the
next working day at the same time and venue.

5.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 19-05-2008
at 11:30 Hrs. at the Office of the Chief Engineer
(Communications), Road Construction Department, CMPDI Campus,
Kanke Road, Ranchi to clarify the issues and answer questions
on any matter to be raised at that stage as stated in clause
9.2 of instruction to Bidders of the Bidding Documents.
6.
The Value of work mentioned in the Col. 5 of the Table
may vary. The exact value of work and accordingly the
Bid
Security required will be as per the details furnished in the
Bidding Documents.
