1.The Executive Engineer R.C.D Road Division, Giridih,
Dist-Giridih, invites bids for the construction of works
details in the table. The bidders may submit bids for the
following work.

Bidding document (and addition copies) may be purchased
from the office of (i) The Chief Engineer(Communication) Road
Construction Department, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi,
Jharkhand 834008 (ii) The Superintending Engineer,Road
Construction Department, Road Circle, Hazaribagh, (iii) The
Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road
Division, Giridih. From 05.05.08
to 07.05.08, for a non-refundable fee as indicated above in
the form of demand draft on any Scheduled bank payable at
Giridih in favour of The Executive Engineer Road Construction
Department, Road Division, Giridih.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the
office of the undersigned.
Bidding
documents requested by mail will be dispatched by
registered/speed post on payment of an extra amount of
Rs.500.00 (Rs.Five hundred only), in the form of separate
demand draft of any schedule bank payable at Giridih in favour
of the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road
Division, Giridih.
The
offices mentioned in Para 2(i) to 2(iii) will not be held
responsible for the postal delay if any, in the delivery of
the documents or non-receipt of the same.
3. Bids must be accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table, payable at Giridih and
drawn in the favour of Executive Engineer Road Construction
Department, Road Division, Giridih.
Bid security will have to be in anyone of the forms as
specified in Clause 16 of the bidding documents and shall have
to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the Bid. Bid
security amount may vary depending upon the estimated Cost @
of 1% of
estimated cost mentioned in the bidding document(rounded to
nearest thousand rupees).
4. Bids must be delivered to the following offices in two
sealed envelops (i.e one for technical bid and other for
financial bid), both sealed envelopes must be sealed in a
single envelope.
(i) The Chief
Engineer(Communication), Road Construction Department, CMPDI
Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
(ii) District control Room Office,Ranchi, on or before 15.00
hours on 09.05.08. The one envelope containing technical bid
will be opened on the same day at 15.30 hours, in the presence
of the bidders who wish to attend.
If the offices happens to be closed on the date of receipt of
the bids as specified, the bids will be received and opened on
the next working day at the same time and venue.
5. A pre-bid meeting will be held in 08.05.08 at 11:30 hours )
The Chief Engineer(Communication) Road Construction
Department, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand to
clarify the issues and to answer questions on any matter that
may be raised at that stage as stated in clause 9.2 of
‘Instructions to Bidders’ of the bidding document.
