RE-INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS
(National Competitive Bidding)

1.Road Construction Department, Government of Jharkhand , intends to carry out Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the construction of Manoharpur -Anandpur -Bano-Kolebira road from Km 26.40 to 84.52
1.Brief description of the work is as below :

2. Pre-qualification is open to contracting firms. Only firms pre-qualified under this procedure will be invited to bid at subsequent date.
3. Pre-qualification documents can be obtained from 01.04.2008 to 07.04.08 between 10:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs on all working days from the address for communication mentioned below on payment of document fee of Rs. 10,000/- in the form of a Demand Draft favoring Executive Engineer, RCD, Road Division, Gumla and payable at Gumla :-
(i) Office of the Chief Engineer (Communication ), Road Construction Department, C.M.D.I. Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi.
(ii) Office of Superintending Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Circle, Ranchi.
(iii) Office of the Executive Engineer , Road Construction Department, Road Division,  Gumla.
Bidding Documents requested by mail will be dispatched by Registered / Speed Post on payment of an extra amount of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) in the form of separate Demand Draft on any Scheduled Bank in favour of Executive Engineer, RCD, Road Division, Gumla  Payable at Gumla.
4. The request for the pre-qualification document must clearly state "Request for pre-qualification document for the works under Widening & Strengthening for two lane of Manoharpur-Anandpur-Bano-Kolebira Road from Km 26.40 to 84.52"
5. Sealed envelopes containing duly filled up pre-qualification document (must be hard bound with all pages serially numbered) should reach Office of the Chief Engineer (Communications), road Construction Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi at the address for communication given below not later than 1500 hrs. on April 21,2008 and should be clearly marked "Application for pre-qualification for the works under Widening & Strengthening for two lane of Manoharpur -Anandpur-Bano-Kolebira Road from Km26.40 to 84.52"
6. Chief Engineer (Communications ), Road Construction Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi will not be responsible for any delay in receiving the documents and reserves the right to accept/reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof. The application for pre-qualification along with documentary proof of experience, turnover etc. shall be hard bound. Loose/spiral bound submission is liable to be treated as nonresponsive .
