Construction Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi invites bids for
the construction of work detailed in table, The bidder may
submit Bid for any or all of the following works.

Bidding documents (three sets) may be purchased from
the office of Executive Engineer, N.H Division, Gumla.
Superintending Engineer, National Highway Circle, Abhiyantran
Bhawan near Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Ranchi & Chief
Engineer, National Highway Wing, Jharkhand, Engineers Hostel,
Near Golechakkar, Dhurwa. Ranchi from 12/02/2008 to 18/02/2008
for a non refundable fee as indicated in the form of
Demand Draft of any scheduled Bank Payable at State
Bank of India, Gumla in favour of Executive Engineer, National
Highway Division Gumla Interested bidders may obtain further
information at the same address. Bidding documents requested
by mail will be dispatched by registered/speed post on payment
of an extra amount of Rs. 1000. The undersigned will not be
responsible for the postal delay if any in the delivery of the
documents or non-receipt of the same.
3. Bids must by accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the works in the table and pledged in favour of
Executive Engineer, National Highway Division, Gumla. Bid
security will have to be in any one of the forms as specified
in the bidding document and shall have to be valid for 45 days
beyond the validity of the bid.
4. Bids must be delivered to Chief Engineer, National
Highway, Wing Jharkhand, Ranchi on or before 3.00 PM. Hours on
26/02/2008 and technical bid will be opened on the same day at
3.30 PM Hours in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.
If the office will be closed the same will be
opened on the next working day at the same time and
venue.
5. A pre bid meeting will held on 22/02/2008 at 11.00 AM
hours at the office of Chief Engineer, National Highway Wing
Jharkhand, Ranchi to clarify the issues and to answer
questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage as
stated in clause 9.2 of Instruction of Bidders of the bidding
document.

7. All rights reserve with the undersigned to cancel or/ and
postponed the tender without assigning any reasons therefore.
