Bidding document may be purchased from the following
offices from 15.01.2008 to 21.01.2008 for a non-refundable fee
as indicated, in the form of Demand Draft on State Bank of
India payable at Gumla in favour of executive Engineer, RCD,
Road Division, Gumla.
(I) Office of the Chief Engineer (Communication), Road
Construction Department, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi –
834008.
(ii) Office of the Superintending Engineer, Road Construction
Department, Road Circle, Ranchi.
(iii) Office of the Executive Engineer, Road Construction
Department, Road Division Gumla, interested bidders may obtain
further information at the Address mentioned above.
3. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security (Earnest
Money) of the amount specified for the work in the Bid
Document pledged in favour of the Executive Engineer, RCD,
Road Division, Gumla. Bid security will have to be in any one
of the forms as specified in the bidding Document and shall
have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the bid.

Bids must be delivered to the following offices on or
before 15.00 hours on 28.01.2008 and will be opened on the
same day at 15.30 hours, in the presence of the bidders who
wish to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the date
of receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be received
and opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
(i) Office of the Chief Engineer (Communication), Road
Construction Department, Jharkhand, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road,
Ranchi – 834008.
(ii) District Control Room Office, Ranchi.
5.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on 25.01.2008 at 12.00
hrs. at the office of the Chief Engineer (Communication), Road
Construction Department, Jharkhand, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road,
Ranchi – 834008 to clarify the issues and to answer
questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage as
stated in Clause 9.2 of "Instructions to Bidders" of
the bidding document.
6.
The value of work mentioned in the Col. 3 of the Table
may vary. The exact value of work and accordingly the Bid
Security required will be as per the details furnished in the
Bidding Documents.
