Bidding documents ( three sets) may be purchased from
the office of Executive Engineer, NH Division, Ranchi at city
control room Kachehry chowk Ranchi, Superintending Engineer,
National, Highway Circle, Abhiyantran Bhawan near Ranchi
Municipal Corporation, Ranchi & Chief Engineer , National
Highway wing, Jharkhand, Engineers Hostel, Near Golchakkar,
Dhurwa, Ranchi from 15.01.08
to 21.01.08 for a non refundable fee as indicated
in the form of Demand Draft of any Scheduled Bank payable at Ranchi
in favour of Executive Engineer, National Highway Division,
Ranchi. Interested bidders may obtain
further information at the same address. Bidding documents
requested by mail will be dispatched by registered/ Speed post
on payment of an extra amount of Rs. 1,000/- The undersigned
will not be held responsible for the postal delay if any in
the delivery of the documents or non- receipt of the same.
3. Bids must by accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table and pledged in favour of
Executive Engineer, National, Highway, Division Ranchi. Bid
security will have to be in any one of the forms as specified
in the bidding document and shall have to be valid for 45 days
beyond the validity of the bid.

Bids must be delivered to Chief Engineer, National,
Highway, Wing, Jharkhand, Ranchi on or before 3.00 PM. Hours
on 28.01.08
in the City control Room, Ranchi and the will be opened on the
same day at 3.30 PM hours in the presence of the bidders who
wish to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the date
of receipt of bids as specified, the bids will be received and
opened on the nest working day at the same time and venue

A prebid meeting will be held on 24.01.08 at 1.00 PM Hours at the
office of Chief
Engineer, National Highway Wing, Jharkhand, Ranchi to clarify
the issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be
raised at the stage as stated in clause 9.2 of “Instruction
to Bidders” of the bidding
document.

However the turnover criteria has
been relaxed to 13.00cr/anum instead of required turnover of
18 Crores.
7. All rights reserve with the undersigned to cancel or / and
postponed the tender without assigning any reasons therefore.
8.Reimbursement will be made for difference in price of
Bitumen & Emulsion; (Over SOR-23.05.07) on date of
publication of this Re invitation for Bids (IFB). [ As per
