CONTRACTOR PREQULIFICATION

1.Bids for contractor pre-qualification are invited for a project, which includes within the state of Jharkhand, the construction of ROB- cum-Flyover approach-cum-High Level RCC Bridge over River Subernarekha on NH-33 at Namkum total length 481 m (Bridge over Subernarekha 73m and Flyover viaduct 408m) in km. 130-131 in the State of Jharkhand (ROB in the Railway land having about 44m length to be constructed by the Railways). The project contract includes the following principal work items;

Contractors  registered with the State Public Works Department/ Central Government Departments who have experience in the construction of similar works and consider themselves capable of constructing the project work should obtain pre-qualification documents from the address given below on any working day between the hours of 10.30AM to 5.00PM from 15 January 08 on payment of Rs. 2000/- ( Rupees Two thousand only) towards cost of Bid document and Rs. 240/- ( Rupees Two Hundred Forty only) towards Value Added Tax (VAT) through separate Crossed Demand Drafts. The Crossed Demand Drafts of any schedule Bank towards (i) Cost of Bid Document and (ii) VAT are to be made in favour of Executive Engineer, National Highway Division, Ranchi Payable at Ranchi.  No Document will be issued after 22 January 2008.
        The completed pre-qualification document and questionnaire should be returned to the Employer/Engineer at the address given below on or before close of business on  31 January 2008. The Employer/ Engineer reserves the right to deny pre-qualification to any applicant without assigning any reason. Only firms pre-qualified under this procedure will be invited to bid for project contract.
                               The application for pre-qualification must be received in sealed envelopes which must be either delivered by hand or by Registered mail to the Chief Engineer, NH wing , RCD, Jharkhand, Engineers’ Hostel, Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004, not later than 5.00PM hours on 31 Jan 2008 and be clearly marked “Application to pre-qualify for CONSTRUCTION OF ROB-CUM-FLOYOVER APPROACH AND HIGH LEVEL RCC BRIDGE OVER RIVER SUBERNAREKHA ON NH-33 NAMKUM IN KM.130-131 in JHARKHAND”.
