1.The Chief Engineer, National Highway Wing, Road,
Construction Department Jharkhand, Ranchi invites bids for the
construction of work detailed in the table. The bidders may
submit for any or all of following works.

Any Contractor registered with Central Government/any
State Government or any P.S.U or an agency of International or
National repute may give the tender but registration with
concerned works department will be essential after issue of
L.O.A.
3. Bidding documents (Three sets) may be purchased from
the Office of the Executive Engineer N.H. Division, Hazaribag/
Superintending Engineer, N.H. Circle Dhanbad & Chief
Engineer National Highway Wing Jharkhand, Ranchi from 24.12.07
to 30.12.07 for a non refundable fee (for three sets) as
indicated in the form of Demand Draft on any scheduled Bank
payable at State Bank of India, Hazaribag in favour of
Executive Engineer National Highway, Hazaribag. Interested
bidders may obtain further information by mail at the same
address. Bidding documents requested by mail will be
dispatched by registered/speed post on payment of an extra
amount of Rs. 1000/- . The undersigned will not be held
responsible for the postal delay if any in the delivery of the
documents or non-receipt of the same.
4. Bids must be accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table and duly pledged in favour
of E.E. N.H. division, Hazaribag. Bid security will have to be
in any one of forms as specified in the Bidding document and
shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the
bid.
5. Bids must be delivered to Chief Engineer N.H. Wing
Jharkhand, Ranchi on or before 3:00 P.M. on 07.01.08 and bid
will be opened on the same day at 3:30 P.M. in the presence of
the bidders who wish to attend. If the Office happens to be
closed on the date of receipt of the bids specified the bids
will be receive and opened on the next working day at same
time and venue.
6.
A pre bid meeting will be held on 04.01.08 at 11:00
A.M. at the office of Chief Engineer N.H. wing Jharkhand,
Ranchi to clarify the issue and to answer-question on any
matter that may be raised at that stage as stated in clause
9.1.2 of information to Bidders of the bidding documents.
7.

Website of Department or on the notice board of undersigned
office or by meeting the undersigned on any working day in
working hour.
8. The undersigned has right to extend or cancel the
tender without declaring any reason.
