Bidding Documents may be purchased from the
office of -

Chief Engineer (Communications) Road
Construction Department CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi,
Jharkhand
(ii) Office of the Superintending Engineer, R.C.D,
Road Circle, Dumka
(iii) Office of the Executive Engineer, R.C.D, Road
Division, Dumka
From 12.12.2007 to 14.12.2007 for a non- refundable fee as
indicated, in the form of Demand draft on State Bank of India
payable at Dumka in favour of Executive Engineer, Road
Division, Dumka, interested bidders may obtain further
information at the same address. Bidding documents requested
by mail will be dispatched by registered / Speed post on
payment of and extra amount of Rs 500.00 ( Rupees five hundred
). The Department will not be held responsible for the postal
delay if any, in the delivery of the documents or non- receipt
of the same.
3. Bids must be accompanied by Security of the
amount specified for the work, in the table, payable at Dumka
and drawn in favour of Executive Engineer, Road Division,
Dumka. Bid security will have to be in any one of the forms as
specified in the Bidding Document and shall have to be valid
for 45 days beyond the validity of the Bid.
4. Bids must be delivered to
(i) Office of the Chief Engineer (Communications),
Road construction Department, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road,
Ranchi, Jharkhand, Ranchi
(ii) District Control Room office, Ranchi
on or before 15:00 Hrs on 20.12.2007 and will be opened on the
same day at 15:30 Hrs in the presence of the Bidders who wish
to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the date of
the receipt of the Bids as specified, the Bids will be
received and opened on the next working day at the same time
and venue.
5.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 17.12.2007 at
11:30 Hrs at the office of the Chief Engineer
(Communications), Road Construction Department, CMPDI Campus,
Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand to clarify the issues and answer
questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage as
stated in Clause-9.2 of instructions to Bidders of the Bidding
Document.
