The Road Construction Department, Govt. of Jharkhand
invites bids for the construction of works detailed in table.
The builders may submit bids for any or all of the
following works.

Bidding document may be purchased from the office of
(i) Chief Engineer (Communications), Road Construction
Department CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand. (ii)
Office of the Superintending Engineer, RCD, Road Circle, Dumka.
(iii) Office of the Executive Engineer, RCD, Road Division,
Godda; from 12.12.2007 to 14.12.2007 for a non-refundable fee
as indicated, in the form of Demand Draft on State Bank of
India payable at Godda in favour of Executive Engineer, Road Division, Godda. Interested bidders
may obtain further information at the same address. Bidding
documents requested by mail will be dispatched by registered /
speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs. 500/- (Rupees
five hundred). The Department will not be held responsible for
the postal delay if any, in the delivery of the documents
or non- receipt of the same.
3. Bids must be accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table, payable at Godda and
drawn in favour of Executive Engineer, Road Division, Godda.
Bid security will have to be in anyone of the forms as
specified in the bidding document and shall have to be valid
for 45 days beyond the validity of the bid.
4. Bids must be delivered to (i) Office of the Chief Engineer (Communications), Road
Construction Department, CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi,
Jharkhand, Ranchi. (ii) District Control Room office, Ranchi ;
on or before
15.00 hours on
20.12.2007 and
will be opened on the same day at 15:30 hours, in the presence
of the bidders who wish
to attend. If the
office happens to
be closed on the date of
receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be
received and opened on the next working day at the same time
and venue.
5.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on 17.12.2007 at 11.30
hrs. at the office of
the Chief Engineer (Communication), Road Construction
Department, CMPDI, Campus Kanke Road, Ranchi to clarify the
issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be
raised at that stage
as stated in Clause 9.2 of ‘Instructions
to Bidders’ of the bidding document.
