of proposals for selection and engagement of Engineering
Consultancy firms for rendering Technical Services for 3rd
Party checking of quality of works.
A.
The State government has taken up an integrated road
development programme to upgrade the road infrastructure in
the State conforming to the National Standards. The RCD, Govt.
desires to engage technical agencies for 3rd party
check on quality of construction of works. It also requires
strengthening of its own Quality Control laboratories.
B.
In this regard, the Engineer – in – chief, Road
Construction Department, 4th Floor, Jharkhand
Mantralaya (Project Building), Dhurwa, Ranchi (Tel. No.
0651-2400747) invites proposal for selection and engagement of
Technical Agencies for 3rd Party check on quality
of works from the Consultancy firms/ Organisations of
National/ International repute having sound experience in
Construction Supervision/ Advisory Services quality assurance
services related to Highway/ Bridge Works.

D. The
RFP (Request for proposal) document and Terms of Reference can
be obtained from the 12th of November 2007 to 26th
November 2007 between 1100 hrs to 1700 hrs IST on all working
days from the following offices on payment of non-refundable
Demand Draft amounting to Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand
only) drawn in the favor of "Executive
Engineer, Advance Planning, Field Survey Division, Road
Construction Department, Ranchi and payable at SBI
Ranchi."

F. Submission of Proposals:- Sealed proposals should reach RCD
at the address given below not later than 29.11.07 upto 16:00

G.
RCD
will not be responsible for any delay, loss or non-receipt of
RFP document sent by post/courier. Further it shall no be
responsible for any delay in receiving the Proposal and
reserves the right of accept/ reject any or all applications
without assigning any reason thereof.

of Proposals: Proposals shall be opened on the 29th
