Sealed tenders in duplicate are invited from reputed, experienced and financially sound manufacturers having adequate, manufacturing having adequate, manufacturing and testing facilities for design, manufacture, testing & supply of following materials:- 

1. Tender documents including terms and conditions, B.O.Q. and Technical specification can be purchased from the office of the Chief Engineer (S&P), Jharkhand State Electricity Board, Ranchi on payment of cost of tender documents (Non-refundable) either in cash or in the shape of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Deputy Director of Accounts (Sectt.), JSEB, Ranchi payable at Ranchi on any working day from 15.09.2007 up to one day before the due date.
2. Tender must accompanied with earnest money @2% of the quoted value subject to maximum of Rs.30,000=00 (Rupees thirty thousand) only unless and otherwise exempted.
3. Tenders of those firms, which do not posses valid BIS license on the due date, will not be entertained.
4. Request for issue of tender documents by post will not be accepted.
5.Conditional and incomplete tender will not be accepted.
6.Past performance of the materials supplied earlier by a bidder to JSEB will be taken into account during evaluation of the tender.
7.Tender must be given for at least 25% of the tendered quantity.
8.The requirement mentioned in the tender notice is tentative & it is subject to increase or decrease at the time of finalisation of the tender.
9.Board reserves the right to extend the date of submission/opening of tender or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
